An IT Project Manager will be responsible for successful delivery of a project while following the process defined by the company. He/She will be expected to work on multiple projects simultaneously. Experience with eCommerce / retail systems is strongly preferred. Agile / Scrum certification and/or experience is required. Will consider candidates with the right combination of equivalent experience, education, and training.

Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Skillset

Facilitation: (Experience 4+ years)

• Facilitates meetings to effectively review requirements, set success criteria, and assign tasks
• Facilitates and participates in scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Review, Retrospective)

Business Knowledge: (Experience 3 years)

• Good understanding of Retail and E-Commerce
• Understands different elements of ecommerce (supply chain, product management, ordering, search, personalization, site tagging, registration, warehouse management)
• Continuously learning and applying Market America business knowledge

Project Process: (Experience 4+ years)

• Keeps projects moving by assisting in obtaining the required answers to questions
• Assess situations to determine the importance, urgency and risks, and make clear decisions which are timely and in the best interests of the organization
• Utilize Market America’s project and implementation guideline for the successful project delivery
• Set priorities, develop project roadmap and schedule project timelines
• Develop implementation and release plans according to guideline
• Manage risks and issues during the implementation process
• Coordinates with other project managers to resolve project/team dependencies.
• Proactively collaborates with business owners, project stakeholders and other team members to analyze project needs
• Works with 3^rd party vendors

Tracking: (Experience 4+ years)

• Evaluates status of assignments for accuracy and timeliness

• Constantly monitors progress and tracks project deliverables
• Reports project progress correctly and in a timely manner
• Identifies projects issues and offers resolutions to efficiently meet project needs
• Reviews all testing results with team for accurate and timely completion

Communication: (Experience 4+ years)

• Creates communication plan based on project owner/stakeholders expectation
• Follows the communication plan to communicate project status with the business owner
• Collaborate with other departments and subject matter experts to implement the agreed upon deliverables

Project and Operations assignments:

• Successfully manage multiple projects or programs at the same time
• Manage operations tasks assigned to the Team
• Manage projects with multiple team assignments

Teamwork:

• Works with a team of 8-10 developers
• Works directly with other Project Managers, Sr. Project Managers and/or Program Managers
• Promotes teamwork among team members
• Provides direction and support to project team
• Resolves conflict among team members for efficient delivery of project

Mentorship and Coaching: (Experience 2+ years):

• Mentoring Jr. Project Manager/s and other team members

Documentation:

• Ensures that project documents (Milestone log, Project charter, Burndown chart, etc.) are accurate, complete, and stored appropriately

Education and Experience

• Bachelors’ or Masters’ degree in business management, computer science, or related field.

• Overall Experience: 4-6 years of work experience

• 4 or more years of in project management with minimum 2 years in Scrum
• Minimum 3 year’s experience in retail or ecommerce
• May consider suitable applicants with MA Experience in lieu of experience requirements listed above
• May consider suitable applicants with other managerial, business or technical experience in lieu of experience requirements listed above

Training and Certification:

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or PMI Agile
• PMP- Nice to have
