Job Title: Structural Project Engineer
Location: Springfield, MO

This role will have overall responsibility for the design and management of specific projects, including K-12 and higher education, healthcare, civic, government, historic preservation, and sports lighting projects in California.

You Have:

  • Wide range of building structure types including educational, industrial, commercial, and residential, preferably in a consulting engineering firm environment.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working as a structural engineer. Professional licensure is preferred.
  • Detail-oriented with strong skills in structural analysis, design and detailing of steel, concrete, masonry, and timber systems for all types of buildings.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and have a diversified knowledge of technology, materials, equipment, design concepts, and construction techniques.

You Will:

  • Manage projects from design through construction.
  • Developing geometric layouts of structures and performing load calculations.
  • Designing and detailing of building structures
  • Preferred knowledge of Risa or Etabs.
  • Reviewing analysis and checking design calculations, estimates, and specifications produced by other engineers.
  • Performing seismic analysis and design of building structures.
  • Ability to provide leadership, mentoring, and guidance to less experienced engineers.
  • Ability to interact with architects and engineers of different disciplines.
