Job Overview:
As a Civil Engineering Technologist, you will be responsible for various duties associated with land development. Some of your responsibilities include applying principles, methods, and techniques of civil engineering technology to design drainage and stormwater systems, water systems, sanitary sewer systems, parking, and roadways

You Have:
- Excellent knowledge of land development, roadway codes, and stormwater standards
- Familiarity with land development site design
- Strong aptitude for project management
- A 4-year degree in Engineering is required, with EIT and/or PE certification preferred
- At least 3 years of experience in civil engineering
- Demonstrable understanding of the construction process and ability to interpret construction drawings
- Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and stormwater management software
- Strong communication skills
You Will:
- Utilize Civil 3D software to create construction documents and exhibits
- Use stormwater management and storm sewer software to design and permit land development projects
- Review relevant regulations and standards required to carry out project design and permitting work
- Analyze reports, maps, drawings, tests, and other topographical and geologic data to plan and design projects
- Independently make decisions on engineering problems and methods
- Receive instructions from Senior Engineers regarding the expected general results of your work
- Ensure that engineering design, reports, and plans are accurate and of high quality while maintaining conformity to budgets, schedules, and company standards
- Perform on-site services such as site investigations and construction observation
