Project Manager – Education Architectural Design

Salary Range: $105,000 – $137,500 annually (DOE)
Total Compensation Package: $120,000 – $150,000+ (including benefits, retirement, and performance incentives)

About the Role

We are seeking a Project Manager – Education Architectural Design to lead K–12 and higher education projects. The role involves team leadership, project coordination, programming, design, and technical oversight, while building lasting client relationships. Experience with K–12 projects is required; higher education, healthcare, commercial, or institutional project experience is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear verbal, written, and graphic communication.

  • Lead and supervise architectural teams while coordinating consultant responsibilities.

  • Interpret, organize, execute, and manage the development of multiple projects.

  • Guide design concepts through all phases, from programming to construction.

  • Ensure projects align with budget, schedule, and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 8+ years of architectural experience, with at least 4 years in K–12 education design.

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture (accredited).

  • Licensure: Texas Registered Architect preferred (others with relevant experience considered).

  • Strong understanding of financial, scheduling, and resource planning.

  • Knowledge of building codes, standards, and structural systems.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects in varying phases of development.

  • Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, Newforma, and Microsoft Office Suite (preferred).

  • Knowledge of sustainability standards a plus.
