Assistant Project Manager / Architect (2660)

 You have:

  • Degree in Architecture; Licensed Architect or pursuing licensure preferred.
  • 2-4 Years of experience.
  • Basic understanding and application of accessibility codes and applicable building codes.
  • Basic knowledge of building construction systems.
  • Basic understanding of all stages of architectural document production.
  • Ability to perform block planning, space planning, and adjacencies in coordination with building program.
  • Ability to develop wall sections and floor plans.
  • Ability to check your own work for accuracy and completeness.
  • Able to manage time to meet project agenda and budget.
  • Ability to contribute and collaborate in a project team setting through all phases of architectural document production.
  • Design experience in Retail / Commercial projects preferred.
  • Strong communication and project management skills.
  • Extensive experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.

You will:

  • Create architectural designs and concepts based on client input and feedback.
  • Interpret and apply building codes and requirements of other regulatory agencies.
  • Prepare and revise documentation in numerous architectural phases including floor plans, site plans, building sections, building elevations, and details.
  • Coordinate building systems (structural, mechanical, electrical, etc.) to ensure compatibility with the design plan.
  • Modify designs to meet the changing needs of each client.
  • Communicate with contractors and construction workers to implement designs changes in the field.
  • Attend project coordination meetings with team members and/or external consultants.
