Salary: $140,000 – $210,000 (Based on Experience & Licensure)

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager / Client Relationship Manager (CRM) with a strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering. This is a high-impact, client-facing role overseeing complex projects in the healthcare and institutional sectors while driving long-term client partnerships and business growth.

Role Overview

In this dual-role position, you will combine technical leadership with client relationship management, ensuring high-quality project delivery while cultivating strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Team Management

  • Lead multi-disciplinary engineering teams on large-scale projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and aligned with client expectations.

  • Manage projects across healthcare, K-12, higher education, federal, and sports/stadium sectors.

  • Oversee project budgets, staffing allocations, schedules, and technical quality.

  • Participate in key client and internal meetings, documenting and driving project-critical actions.

  • Support staffing plans and project resource allocation in coordination with leadership.

Client Leadership & Business Development

  • Act as primary client point of contact; ensure quality service and proactive solutions.

  • Identify additional service opportunities and negotiate scope changes.

  • Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and support forecasting and financial planning.

  • Contribute to business development efforts by expanding relationships in healthcare and institutional markets.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required.

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred.

  • 10+ years of project management experience, with a strong record in healthcare or institutional projects.

  • Proven ability to balance technical expertise, client engagement, and business strategy.

Skills & Tools

  • Strong knowledge of building systems, engineering methods, and construction administration.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

  • Understanding of budgeting, fee proposals, and project financial management.

  • Skilled communicator, mentor, and team motivator.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary $140,000 – $210,000 (commensurate with experience/licensure).
