Location: Dallas, TX
Title: Electrical Engineer III
Experience Required: 5+ years
Salary Range: $85,000 – $135,000

Total compensation package value:  $105,000 - $165,000

Role Overview

As an Electrical Engineer III, you will apply advanced electrical design knowledge to develop construction drawings and provide professional support throughout all project phases. You will serve as a key liaison between the design team and the client, ensuring quality communication, project delivery, and client satisfaction. This role also involves mentoring junior staff and supporting project management activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead project timelines and maintain consistent communication between design teams and clients.

  • Prepare proposals, engineering agreements, and construction documents that meet project requirements.

  • Develop electrical design elements and specifications in compliance with codes, standards, and quality benchmarks.

  • Research and evaluate design options that align with project scope and parameters.

  • Execute QA/QC processes with accuracy and consistency.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work.

  • Participate in client meetings, site surveys, punch lists, and post-design consultation through construction completion.

  • Mentor and oversee junior engineers and designers.

  • Support project billing and maintain accurate documentation.

  • Contribute to process improvements, efficiencies, and cost reduction initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (required).

  • 5+ years of relevant electrical engineering experience.

  • Strong knowledge of:

    • Building codes and drafting standards.

    • Electrical engineering practices.

    • Construction processes and construction drawings.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Preferred: EIT and/or PE certification.

  • Travel: 0–10%.
