Construction Project Manager

Locations: Multiple U.S. offices + international projects
Experience: 7–10 years | Salary: $90,000 – $130,000 + Bonus

Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead large-scale construction projects from concept through completion. This is a dynamic role within a highly respected Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) firm recognized for technical excellence, employee ownership, and community impact. The ideal candidate will bring proven expertise in industrial, manufacturing, and complex multi-discipline projects, with a strong foundation in construction engineering, project delivery, and quality management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage construction projects from start to finish, ensuring goals, budgets, schedules, and client expectations are met.

  • Lead and coordinate project teams, collaborating with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and stakeholders.

  • Oversee progress reporting, cost updates, and schedule management for clients and senior leadership.

  • Administer competitive bidding processes, evaluate subcontractor qualifications, and recommend awards.

  • Negotiate, issue, and manage subcontracts, purchase orders, and change orders.

  • Conduct job site inspections, lead progress meetings, and enforce project safety protocols.

  • Review vendor submittals, track procurement, and ensure timely material/equipment delivery.

  • Manage project closeout, including as-builts, warranties, and final documentation.

  • Maintain compliance with construction laws, contracts, insurance requirements, and accounting standards.

  • Champion a culture of safety, quality, and client service across all projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture.

  • 7–10 years of project management experience, ideally in industrial or manufacturing projects.

  • Strong knowledge of construction engineering principles, field procedures, and materials.

  • Proficiency in construction contracts, laws, and claims avoidance strategies.

  • Skilled in reading, interpreting, and managing construction documents.

  • Familiarity with Procore and Microsoft Project strongly preferred.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and client relationship skills.

  • Ability to travel up to 10%.
