About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer (P.E.) with at least 8 years of experience in the design and delivery of building systems. This role involves managing and coordinating multi-discipline project teams, developing electrical designs, and overseeing assessments of complex facilities. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, leadership ability, and the capability to support projects for federal, state, and local government clients, including healthcare facilities, research labs, courthouses, and infrastructure projects.
What You’ll Do
Plan, coordinate, and lead multi-discipline engineering project teams
Conduct electrical engineering investigations and facility assessments
Design building electrical systems including power, lighting, security, telecom, and emergency generators
Prepare technical specifications, cost estimates, and project schedules
Apply knowledge of electrical codes and industry standards
Oversee construction documentation and design deliverables
Travel as needed to client sites
What You Bring
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
Professional Engineer (P.E.) license (required)
8+ years of electrical engineering experience
Proficiency in building systems design, including power, lighting, security, telecom, and emergency power systems
Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Revit
Medium voltage design experience preferred
Strong leadership skills and ability to mentor junior staff
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Willingness to travel as required
