Project Architect III – Multifamily Design

Salary Range: $121,000 – $132,000 annually (DOE)
Total Compensation Package: $135,000 – $150,000+ (including benefits, PTO, and retirement)
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Architect III with strong experience in large-scale multifamily design to join our Bellevue, WA office. This position requires an on-site presence and offers a flexible Monday–Friday schedule, with start times between 6–9am and end times between 3–6pm.
The Project Architect III will lead projects through all phases, ensuring compliance with building codes, mentoring junior team members, and producing high-quality construction documents. This is an opportunity to play a key leadership role in a collaborative architectural practice dedicated to innovation and community impact.

What We’re Looking For
Experience: 10+ years of architectural design experience, including 5+ years in multifamily projects.
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
Licensure: Licensed Architect in at least one U.S. state (support provided for WA reciprocity).
Software: 5+ years of Revit experience; proficiency with AutoCAD, Enscape, or similar tools.
Knowledge: Building codes, zoning regulations, multifamily standards, and sustainable design principles.
Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, organizational abilities, and communication skills.
Mindset: Positive, collaborative, and able to lead projects with minimal oversight.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Your Role
Design & Technical Leadership
Lead project design efforts with minimal supervision.
Address zoning and code issues, interpreting ambiguities.
Develop and present design concepts to internal teams.
Produce accurate construction documents in Revit/BIM.
Review grading and drainage compliance.
Project Management & Administration
Lead assigned projects while ensuring adherence to standards and schedules.
Conduct site observations and document contract conformance.
Review consultant scopes of work and proposals.
Provide weekly progress reports and promptly address project issues.
Collaboration & Mentorship
Coordinate with external consultants and authorities.
Mentor junior architects and team members.
Represent the company professionally at public hearings and meetings.
Quality Assurance
Conduct QA/QC reviews for accuracy, ADA compliance, and standards.
Contribute to the development of new design standards and best practices.
