Our skilled nursing facility is now recruiting a Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager to become part of our management team providing quality care to our residents. This position requires the successfully hired candidate to work a 40 hour work week.

Registered Nurse (RN) Job Duties:

• Manage staff, oversee patient care and ensure adherence to established policies and procedures.
• Assist with training new personnel.
• Schedule and assign nursing staff and monitor their activities and follow up on work results.
• Work collaboratively, as part of an interdisciplinary clinical team.
• Dedication to providing quality care to our patients.
• Maintain patient confidence and protect operations by monitoring confidential information processing.
• Protect patients and employees by developing and interpreting infection-control policies and protocols; enforcing medication administration, storage procedures, and controlled substance regulations.
• Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
• Perform other duties as assigned or as needed.

Registered Nurse (RN) Requirements:

• Must possess Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida with at least 2 years nursing AND supervisory experience, preferably in a skilled nursing facility.
• Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Perform duties with professionalism and courtesy at all times.
• Working knowledge health care laws and regulations.
• Highly familiar with HIPAA, Patients Rights and skilled nursing facility policies and procedures.
• CPR/BLS card
• Must be able to pass level II background check and submit valid work references.
