Position Overview
We’re seeking a full-time Civil Engineer with 4+ years of experience in land development design to join our in-office team. Ideal candidates will be licensed as a PE or actively on track for licensure (EIT status preferred), and have strong working knowledge of Civil 3D. This is a design-focused role, perfect for someone who wants to stay close to the engineering, work on a variety of challenging projects, and help mentor junior team members along the way.
Key Responsibilities
Design civil engineering plans for residential, commercial, and mixed-use land development projects
Produce grading, drainage, utility, and roadway plans using Civil 3D
Collaborate with internal project teams to ensure high-quality deliverables and timelines are met
Participate in site layout planning, due diligence studies, and code research
Provide informal mentorship to graduate engineers and EITs
Work closely with senior engineers and leadership on project development from early design through permitting
Coordinate with survey, landscape, and architectural teams to develop cohesive site designs
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
PE license or active EIT status with a clear path to licensure
4+ years of professional experience in civil site or land development design
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
Ability to work in-office in Austin, TX
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
