Job Title: Mechanical Engineer (2661)

Location: Alameda, CA

We are looking for highly self-motivated HVAC design engineers with 2-5 years’ experience in conjunction with strong confidence in their abilities to join our team of well-educated and experienced professionals. We specialize in innovative and high-performance HVAC, plumbing, fire protection and control system design; energy and indoor air quality analysis; and system commissioning. Prospective candidates must have a mechanical engineering or a related degree, a thorough understanding of thermodynamics and fluid flow fundamentals, and excellent communication and writing skills. You have:

  • Experience in designing HVAC systems and controls for commercial buildings, including performing load calculations, energy analysis, equipment selection, and layout.
  • The ability to analyze system operational data and make recommendations for improving system performance. Are bale to provide technical leadership.
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field.
  • Professional Engineer desired.
  • Experience in writing specifications and fee estimating, design/build and field experience are desirable.
  • Candidates must have excellent communication skills and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Revit.

• Salary for design staff plus additional bonus pay for all hours worked over 40 hours per week, salary range $85,000 to $150,000
