Associate Director of Bioprocessing encompasses developing and implementing product marketing strategies and tactics and executing activities required to achieve sales and profit objectives for the portfolio. This senior position will cover a board portfolio for Bioprocessing and lead the Value Chain activities for the Bioprocessing division.
Key responsibilities:
Develop the go-to-market and strategy for the Bioprocessing portfolio, execute required market intelligence and market development activities, and provide marketing leadership for new product development programs.
Along with Strategy, actively identify new customer and business value areas, including improved products and services.
Develop deep insights into customers, markets, and business value drivers and use those insights to improve our market position for the assigned product lines and the business overall.
Develop, implement, and regularly review a comprehensive marketing plan, including inbound and outbound marketing tactics to increase market share and awareness for the product lines.
Work in conjunction with outside agencies and the appropriate internal departments, including marketing communications.
Provide leadership, coordination, and content for selected trade shows, industry conferences, and expert panels.
Drive brand awareness for Bioprocessing
Support Global Sales teams through customer visits, trade shows, and regular communication.
Build and maintain customer and industry relationships and company visibility necessary to drive the business strategy.
Interface with users, key opinion leaders, and customer-facing internal teams such as Sales, Support, and Marketing through regular field visits, conference attendance, and industry expert panel participation
Understand the assigned portfolio at all levels and keep key stakeholder groups (Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance) apprised of new developments and opportunities.
Lead Bioprocessing workstream
Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables
Developed a detailed project plan
Identify any risks and establish mitigation strategies
Assemble and lead a cross-functional team
Monitor resource utilization and adjust as necessary
Execute project tasks according to the established plan
Address any roadblocks that could hinder the project
Maintain open and transparent communication with stakeholders
Generate reports, including progress reports and final summaries
Key requirements:
Master’s Degree in an MBA Program with a focus in Marketing, Project Management, Sales
Advanced degree in Marketing, project management
In-depth knowledge of biopharma and bioprocessing markets, 8+ years of relevant experience in the Life Science industry.
Minimum five years in a Marketing or product management role
Demonstrated success at building customer relationships and understanding customer needs.
Relevant technical and market/ customer knowledge of the assigned product areas and/or target applications is preferred.
Previous experience with sales, marketing, strategic planning, and developing marketing campaigns.
Demonstrated highly effective internal/external communication skills, written and verbal, and experience with formal presentations to various levels of seniority within an organization.
Previous experience with routine customer or client interactions in a sales or sales support function.
Ability to work independently, set and drive personal and business objectives, and work with direct reports.
Demonstrated success managing complex projects in a relevant business context.

The full-time base annual salary for this remote position is expected to range between $117,000 and $158,300. Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including the location of the successful candidate, qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and job-related knowledge.
