Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Designs wiring diagrams and controls based on building a new control panel.
• Troubleshoots, designs and builds both 3 wire and PLC Control Panels.
• Understands all types of PLC Inputs and Output cards and their functions.
• Understands electrical devices such as: proximity pressure, flow and magnetic switches and their functions.
• Stays updated on all NRC requirements and changes.
• Communicates with both Apprentice Electrician and Maintenance Manager.
• Uses MP2 for work orders, PM, and parts location, usage and ordering.
• Ability to complies with GMPs and Company safety standards.

Job Requirements, Education, & Certifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must have general knowledge of equipment operations.
• Ability to read and write electrical diagrams and schematics.
• Understands 3 wire controls and PLC’s.
• Ability to troubleshoot PLC controls.
• Must be able to size, bend and install EMT, IMC and ridged conduit per NEC.
• Ability to use multi-meter to test AC/DC voltage, amperage and continuity.
• Must have strong communication skills.
• Must have ability to read and write English.
• Ability to be on feet all day and perform walking, stooping, and bending functions as required.
• Ability to work at steady and continuous pace and to keep up with manufacturing production.
