Lone Star Bakery, Inc. is looking for a Quality Auditor to ensure all aspects of the quality assurance processes are properly executed and that food safety and customer quality requirements are met.
Shifts available are:
- 3:45am-2:25pm (4 days on, 3 days off)
- 5:45am-6pm (8 hour shift but need to be available during these times)
- 2pm-1:30am (8 hour shift but need to be available during these times)
Job Duties
- Operate scales, thermometers, calipers, and other equipment necessary to evaluate the quality of products.
- Performs equipment verifications/calibrations (pH, moisture, thermometer, scale)
- Evaluate production line from start to finish and ensure quality is occurring throughout the production process.
- Performs pre-op and mid-shift inspections.
- Assists shipping withhold tags.
- Sets up product show materials.
- Performs end items exams (i.e. organoleptic, shelf life).
- Reviews and evaluates production records for completion and correctness.
- Performs environmental testing (ATP swabs, sponges, water collection).
- Performs receipt inspection sampling.
Job Requirements
- Computer skills a must!
- Effective communicator with organizational skills.
- Ability to read and write English and complete relevant company documents.
- Ability to be on feet all day and perform walking, stooping, and bending functions as required.
