Lone Star Bakery, inc. is looking for Line Equipment Operators to manages production line equipment and ensures that products meet the Company’s standards prior to entering the oven.
Job Duties
- Performs routine inspection of machines and equipment and ensures that they are sanitary and in proper working condition.
- Ensures that extruders, rollers and ovens are working properly prior to start-up and throughout the shift.
- Reviews production schedule and ensures that appropriate ingredients are staged and/or mixed.
- Notifies supervisor of product or dough deficiencies and/or equipment malfunctions.
- Completes paperwork accurately and legibly.
- Maintains a clean work area that is free and clear of foreign objects and materials.
- Complies with GMPs and Company standards.
- Trains employees and demonstrates best practices when required.
Job Requirements
- Ability to team-lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must have general knowledge of equipment operations.
- Ability to use basic hand tools.
- Ability to complete relevent Company documents.
- Ability to be on feet all day and perform walking, stooping, and bending functions as required.
- Ability to work at steady and continuous pace and to keep up with manufacturing production.
