LifeWorks of Austin, TX is looking for a Counseling Supervisor to join our Youth and Adult Counseling team! The Program Services Coordinator of Youth and Adult Counseling works closely with the Program Director to provide leadership and oversight of the counseling team in providing services to youth and their families, individual adults, and couples who are experiencing issues such as family conflict, abuse, trauma, anxiety, depression, and the stress of everyday life.

This full time, exempt position earns a competitive starting pay rate ranging from $69,136.29-$75,551.00 annually, depending upon experience. Benefits are also included, which consist of 24 PTO days per year (accrued); 15 paid holidays per year; a free employee medical plan with $100 per month HSA contribution (plus other affordable employee or family medical, dental, and vision options!); a retirement savings plan with 50% match on the first 6% of contributions, and much more!  

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinates and assists in the development, delivery, and management of program services and initiatives.
  • Holds staff accountable for meeting individual and program performance objectives by coaching, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; conducting training; implementing and enforcing systems, policies, and
  • Responsible for hiring, onboarding, ongoing training, and supervising with program staff.
  • Provides supervision to licensed clinical staff in accordance with licensure standards, including Board Approved Clinical Supervision for staff working towards their advanced licensure, as needed.
  • Ensures availability and provides guidance to staff for case consultation on a daily basis.
  • Oversees program compliance with documentation and fidelity standards.
  • Assists in compilation, analysis, and reporting of program outcomes and holds program accountable for data quality and accurate and timely reporting of data.
  • Responsible for meeting all agency, program, contract, grant, and licensing standards, and policy compliance.
  • Provides community trainings, presentations and outreach activities and responds to calls and inquiries from internal and external sources.
  • Develops and maintains positive working relationships with agency staff and community contacts and stakeholders such as referral sources, recovery community organizations, and other service providers.
  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining collaborations with community partners.
  • Tracks and approves timesheets, trainings, and licensure renewals for direct reports.
  • Provides direct counseling, group, camp or psychoeducation services as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Requires a Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
  • Advanced licensure in Mental Health discipline.
  • Three (3) years of experience providing direct counseling services.
  • Preferred (1) year of supervisory experience.
  • Experience with documenting services in client databases; proficient level experience with Microsoft Office including, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
