Job Description

Under the direction of the Streets Supervisor, performs all functions necessary for the completion of public works projects. Key responsibilities include snow removal, streetlight repairs, street sweeping and stormwater maintenance, general maintenance activities, and repair and maintenance of roadways. May also be assigned to assist all Public Works divisions. Decisions on day-to-day activities are made independently. Supervision received is limited. Daily work plans are discussed with daily review of progress. There is frequent interaction with the public and other streets workers. Part of on-call rotation and must be able to respond within forty (40) minutes
