Job Description

In a time of unprecedented expansion, we are seeking a Solutions Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and service provided to our internal Solutions team with a focus on Lakeshore’s special needs assessment program. The position will seek to help others achieve a higher level of well-being through thoughtful and attentive support of department-related tasks and projects. Applicants should have sharp written and verbal communications skills, as well as a knack for active listening. The ideal candidate is energized by constant change and has a proven ability to achieve results in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. This is a hybrid on-site/remote position—working 2–3 days per week in-office and the remaining time from home. 

A day on the job looks like this: 

  • Code, test and validate system accuracy and functionality of interactive special needs assessment program
  • Continuously monitor and improve system performance and reliability
  • Coordinate the maintenance and updates of assessment program
  • Maintain adherence to project timelines and milestones
  • Communicates project updates effectively to the Solutions Development team
  • Coordinates and corresponds with cross-functional project teams (which may include Research & Development, Product Art, Testing Lab and Sales) regarding development of custom products
  • Communicates with vendors, requesting quotes and project updates
  • Coordinates inbound and outbound product sample shipments for the Solutions Development team
  • Coordinates and creates inventory pulls to ensure on-time deliveries to the Solutions Development team
  • Act as a resource and point of contact, providing guidance and insights on assessments requirements in partnership with programmers and Solutions leadership

Qualifications

  • High school degree with 1–2 years of work experience preferred
  • Special Education background preferred
  • Computer literacy
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills and thoroughness 
  • High degree of flexibility and initiative 
  • Ideally skilled in using SharePoint, Excel, Workfront
