We are seeking an experienced and passionate Product Owner to join the Labcorp Patient product team. This person will be responsible for maximizing our utilization and value of the Salesforce Marketing platform as it pertains to patient engagement. They will think holistically and strategically, and demonstrate a passion for delivering a superior patient experience while also considering operational efficiencies.  They will partner with stakeholders across the organization seeking to engage consumers/patients.

The Product Owner will serve as the domain expert for the Salesforce Marketing platform and will have deep knowledge of its current capabilities and potential. They will seek to significantly advance our utilization of the Salesforce Marketing platform from a feature/capability and enterprise engagement standpoint. They will synthesize all data points and develop their proposal that aligns with the Patient product strategy and best serves our needs. The scope will include patient transactional communications, marketing communications, growing our contactable database, leveraging our 360 view of the patient and more! The objective is to fully maximize the value of the Salesforce Marketing platform. This will involve partnering with peers on the Patient Product team, Marketing, Customer Service, and other stakeholders seeking to engage patients.

They will follow Agile principles and ceremonies in taking features to market. They will be KPI minded understanding and driving specific outcomes, and ensure all internal stakeholders are prepared to support feature launches.

This job requires a high-level understanding of software development lifecycle, complex product management processes including roadmap development, backlog grooming, new feature design and development, software industry, project management, and user experience design.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Key focus areas are: 1) best utilizing our current capabilities across the enterprise, 2) identifying and implementing new capabilities that bring value to the organization, 3) growing our contactable database
  • Serve as the domain expert and point of contact for the Salesforce Marketing platform including all integrations with Labcorp systems
  • Assess the Salesforce product capabilities, and identify opportunities to improve our utilization and bring greater value to the organization
  • Evaluate and prioritize opportunities based on cost/benefit
  • Develop and maintain a strategy including clear objectives, and a roadmap to deliver the strategy
  • Maintain a prioritized backlog for the Salesforce development team
  • Lead bringing roadmap features to life by detailing the requirements via groomed stories, and leading the team through delivery in market
  • Collaborate and innovate with stakeholders seeking to engage patients and guide them on how to best utilize the platform identifying needs to extend the platform where appropriate
  • Support the Patient product team roadmap as it relates to patient transactional communications – email and text
  • Work independently and in a collaborative team environment
  • Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical team, facilitating cross-department communication
  • Contribute to KPI development and ensure appropriate mechanisms are implemented to measure product performance and customer satisfaction
  • Stay apprised of the latest technologies and innovations
  • Consistently meet agreed-upon deadlines or escalate issues, concerns, and barriers to key project leaders. Be a force in driving value to market at an accelerated pace

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience as a Product Owner role focused on the Salesforce platform
  • Deep understanding of the Salesforce Marketing product capabilities
  • Keen understanding and experience of product engineering and product management process using agile methodology
  • Entrepreneurial drive and ability to work at a fast pace
  • Critical thinking and decision-making skills based on experience, metrics and insights
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to present technical and non-technical information clearly and concisely
  • Highly skilled at facilitation, negotiation, and conflict resolution
  • Experience in healthcare, consumer solutions are highly preferred
  • Broad technical exposure with the ability to learn new technology tools and concepts quickly
  • Strong understanding of agile development methodologies is required
  • Experience with project life-cycle management tools such as Confluence and JIRA
  • Must be able and willing to travel as required (< 10%)
  • Bachelor's degree required
