M&A COE Data Analyst

The M&A COE HR Data Analyst role is part of the Global HR M&A team reporting to the Director HR M&A and is responsible for providing human resources support for acquisitions.  The M&A HR Data Analyst will assist the M&A-HR COE team and Human Resources Business Partners team to ensure a smooth acquisition process from due diligence to integration.   

Location:  Work from home

ESSENTIAL COMPETENCIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with HR due diligence, integration, separation and stand up activities globally, including providing data analyst support on multiple acquisitions, divestitures, and other company transactions occurring simultaneously. 
  • Complete the benefits comparison template of Seller benefit package (health, life, disability, retirement, paid time off) for Benefit COE review and analysis.
  • Participate in delivering benefit presentations to acquisition employee groups as needed.
  • Manage employee data and completion of various templates using various data management and validation tools to set up employee data in our Workday system. 
  • Manage sensitive employee data through different phases of the deals with focus on accurate and timely delivery of data for various templates to support job mapping, job offers, and creation of employee records in Workday pre and post employee data load 
  • Engage with Seller HR team to understand Seller employee data to map to Labcorp Workday templates.   
  • Compile employee data for Workday Data Gathering Template (DGT); engage with HRBPs and Finance as needed to ensure correct coding for labor expense; engage with internal stakeholders on template components such as identifying Labcorp rehires and rehire status to ensure correct and complete template for upload of employee data in Workday.
  • Assist with Workday data validation as required.
  • Support the development and implementation of reliable and repeatable processes, methodologies and tools related to HR M&A activities. 
  • Assist M&A-HR COE with updating various employee communication materials throughout the integration process.
  • Partner with HRBPs and COE stakeholders to ensure alignment with timeline requirements related to project deliverables.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and other tools and automation skills to manage multiple spreadsheets or large datasets of employee data
  • Ability to integrate data from different sources utilizing version control practices.
  • Ability to absorb, analyze and process large quantities of disparate information and synthesize quickly with keen attention to detail. 
  • Results oriented and flexibility/adaptability to continual change is key; ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines 
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work in fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, outgoing, friendly, and professional.
  • Able to manage sensitive and confidential information with care and discernment

REQUIREMENTS:

  • B.A./B.S. degree or equivalent combination of education/experience
  • 3-5 years of HR Generalist experience
  • Working knowledge of all facets of HR   
  • 1-2 years of experience with mergers & acquisitions preferred
  • Experience with Workday preferred
