Dietetic Intern 

Responsibilities

• Dietetic Intern will work under the supervision of the registered dietitian preceptor to observe and counsel patients. 
• Intern will shadow dietitian preceptor during nutrition counseling visits.
• Intern will review patient charts, provide nutrition counseling and medical nutrition therapy to patients, under supervision of dietitian preceptor, and chart using EPIC health records. 
• Intern will work with dietitian preceptor to create or update health education materials.
• Intern will attend meetings and trainings.
• If available, intern will assist with and/or co-facilitate groups with dietitian preceptor.
