Fabrication Supervisor - 2nd Shift 1:30pm-10pm

Supervise and facilitate the day-to-day first/second shift activities of the Fabrication team. Ensure the team’s goals and results are consistent with company direction. The supervisor will work with the Fabrication employees to develop their full potential through constant communications, training, feedback, and coaching. This role, in conjunction with the team, is responsible for employee safety, product quality, adherence to schedule, productivity, employee’s attendance, department equipment upkeep.

Responsibilities:

  • Plans and directs the activities of the assigned Fabrication department to achieve Safety, Quality, and Productivity goals.
  • Works with employees to maintain a safe work environment by following defined safety procedures, encouraging employee involvement, following up on safety concerns, and modeling proper safe behaviors.
  • Accountable for team member’s performance.
  • Achieves the expected level of quality service ensuring that company quality standards are adhered to. Propose improvements to quality procedures based on observations of production process.
  • Able to build strong team relations with peers and work collaboratively with employees across all levels and departments.
  • Assist and backup the Fabrication Manager in his absence.

Required Skills:

  • 2+ years of manufacturing supervisory experience managing and developing a diverse group of workers.
  • Demonstrated ability to train fabrication employees through hands-on methods.
  • Ability to problem solve and present solutions to problems.
  • Experience with ISO 9000/14001 or alternative Quality programs.
  • Experience with OSHA compliance.
  • Ability to analyze data and follow procedures to achieve the highest level of quality and productivity.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, use of MRP (E2) a plus.

Starting Salary Range - $62,400 annually. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, and certifications.
