SUMMARY OF POSITION 

Kinsley is seeking Foreman and Equipment Operators to join our growing civil site and pipe crews in Ephrata, PA. Ideal candidates will have a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.  Equipment operators will need to possess prior experience operating loaders, and backhoes. 

TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

FOREMAN

• Effectively lead, manage, and motivate crews of 5 to 10 individuals.
• Successfully manage and schedule subcontractors
• Interpret blueprints, project plans, and specifications.
• Responsible for the production process
• Plan and schedule for necessary manpower, tools, materials, and equipment to complete the job.
• Responsible for completing daily timesheets and maintaining daily logs.
• Perform other related duties as required.

EQUIPMENT OPERATOR

• Operate various heavy equipment in compliance with Kinsley’s safety standards.
• Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of construction practices and site requirements.
• Ensure equipment is maintained through regular checks and servicing.
• Perform additional responsibilities as necessary to support the team and achieve project goals.

REQUIREMENTS 

• Knowledge of underground utilities and general construction processes.
• Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as track loaders, graders, or similar machinery.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Commitment to adhering to safety protocols and contributing to a safe job site environment.
• Punctuality and dependability are essential.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Ability to pass pre-employment DOT physical and drug/alcohol screening.
