The Marjorie & Lewis Katz JCC in Margate is hiring Group Fitness Instructors to teach HIITCLUB, our innovative, high-intensity interval training program.
Schedule & Availability
We are currently hiring for:
- Early morning classes on Tuesdays & Thursdays at 6:00 AM and 7:30 AM (Note: 7:30 AM class is summer-only)
- Availability to sub and additional classes as needed
About HIITCLUB
HIITCLUB is a small group training experience that blends high-impact interval workouts with advanced fitness technology. Sessions include the use of treadmills, rowers, assault bikes, TRX, free weights, and bodyweight exercises -- all integrated with MyZone heart-rate monitoring for real-time performance feedback.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead small group training sessions that are fun, effective, and safe
- Deliver high-quality instruction with clear, motivating cueing and modifications for all fitness levels
- Monitor participant performance using MyZone heart rate tracking
- Maintain a positive, professional, and inclusive class environment
- Communicate effectively with members and JCC staff
Qualifications
- 6+ months of group fitness or small group training experience
- Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification
- Accredited Group Fitness Instructor certification (ACE, AFAA, AAAI or equivalent)
- Energetic, dependable, and passionate about helping others achieve their goals
- Familiarity with MyZone technology a plus
- Team-oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills
Compensation
- Paid per class - rate commensurate with experience and certifications
$25,000 - $35,000
