The Roth Family JCC in Maitland is looking for a PE coach/ Instructor. We are looking for someone who can teach one class a week, for several sessions. You will be in charge of preschool and elementary aged children.

The class will take place one day a week with sessions from: 1:15-2, 2:15-3, 3:15-4, and 4-5.

You will be in charge of following a 17 week curriculum catering to kids ages from 3-8. Class should include running, stretching, learning, and gameplay.

Qualifications and Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• Must work well with children
• Experience working with children (preferred)
• Should be outgoing and have high energy

You Will Be Responsible For:

• Organize materials prior to the start of each class
• Communicate with supervisor regarding class needs
• Update attendance
• Participate in promotional events relating to class
• Create weekly email for parents and report to supervisor
• Establish routine in class
• Provide guidance to children and inspire a love of the sport
• Creative-minded and flexible attitude preferred
• Follow all sign in and sign out procedures to ensure accountability and safety of children at all times

Pay rate: $20/hour
