Administrative Specialist, Mid
Key Role:
Coordinate facilities and administrative services, including clerical and support services, printing, and telecommunications. Coordinate staffing or tasking actions with the directorates, special staff, and executive aides, as appropriate, in a timely and effective manner, including ensuring that all pertinent staff members are apprised of information. Apply specific administrative, working, and general industry and military knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Review, edit, and staff instructions, manuals, military awards, 3- and 4-star memorandum, correspondence, and other documents for review by Command Leadership executive assistants, and prepare final copies for Commander, Deputy Commander, or Chief of Staff approval and signature. Initiate action to provide end-user support and perform complex administrative duties. Work independently with some guidance. Review or guide activities of more junior employees.
Basic Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience with office administration providing task management, workflow process automation, and project oversight
- Experience working with senior military leaders at a 3- or 4-star level joint or service command
- Ability to pay strict attention to detail while multi-tasking in administrative actions and activities
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- Bachelor’s degree in a Business or Technology field
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite programs, including Outlook, SharePoint, and Confluence
- Possession of excellent organizational skills
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
