Job Description
ISN is seeking an experienced Program Director who will serve as the primary, day-to-day, and overall customer point of contact for the execution of assigned customer contract(s).
Other duties and responsibilities may include:
- Performing as the direct interface for customer personnel relative to the execution of new and existing contracts/orders and management of any customer issues.
- Supporting Business Development in the pursuit of additional contracts for DOD and Intel clients.
- Ensuring program/project deliverables are compliant with contractual requirements and regulations.
- Executing programs in accordance with business and corporate objectives, aligning with schedule and profitability goals.
- Directing and managing program development from beginning to end, overseeing quality control throughout the program lifecycle.
- Providing leadership to matrixed program team to review/assess contract requirements, ensure complete contract compliance and on-time completion of all deliverables, and coordinate and define program solutions as required.
- Estimating the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals
- Managing project risks and issues, escalating to Management and customer wherever necessary.
- Tracking and reporting project performance (milestones & budget adherence).
- Providing internal business performance tracking and reporting/forecasting for each assigned program including delivery status, contract issues, revenue, margin and cash flow, risks and opportunities, key actions/escalations to ensure business performance success.
- Working closely with Business Development, Proposal Management, and other departments to identify, pursue, and win new and/or follow-on business opportunities.
- Exercising judgment and delegated authority for planning, directing, coordinating, and executing complex project/programs
- Identifying and resolving issues and conflicts with the Customer and within the project team
- Identifying and managing project dependencies and critical path
- Proactively managing changes in program scope, identifying potential crises, and devising contingency plans.
- Building, developing, and growing business relationships vital to the success of the program
- Conducting program postmortems and create a recommendations report to identify successful and unsuccessful program elements
Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.
Qualifications
- DoD Secret clearance with the ability to be cleared at Top Secret level
- US Citizen
- Bachelor's Degree required
- 15 years of experience in government contracting, including 5 years with DoD or Intel agencies, and 5 years of senior management.
- ISO or CMMI experience preferred.
- Background Investigations experience preferred.
