We are looking for a Systems Engineer/Analyst to join our team to support the Systems Readiness Directorate (SRD) Cargo, FW, & Multiplatform Division.
Your day-to-day work will include:
- Collaborating with various engineering disciplines resident at the Army Systems Readiness Directorate (SRD) Airworthiness to identify and defend the need for test or analysis data required to support airworthiness release/documentation
- Assisting the government in developing airworthiness qualification plans, airworthiness releases, airworthiness qualification specification reports, and statement of airworthiness qualifications.
- Assisting the government in performing airworthiness qualification of aircraft/components. Verifying qualification at the component and system level for integration into an Army aircraft.
- Assisting the government in reviewing analyses, drawings, test requirements, and maintenance procedures with respect to quality assurance and sustainment and their impact to the airworthiness of aircraft.
- Assisting the government in performing airworthiness assessments (CONUS and OCONUS) for supported systems.
- Assisting the government in producing hazard analysis for risk reduction of supported systems.
- Envelope the aircraft via operational and/or maintenance instructions to allow safe use of the aircraft/modification based on available data.
This position will require up to 25% travel CONUS and OCONUS.
At a minimum you should have:
- An active SECRET security clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain.
- A BS degree in a technical field preferred.
- 4+ years of relevant experience required.
- 10+ years of relevant experience or equivalent military operational and maintenance experience in rotary wing applications preferred.
- Excellent writing skills are needed, along with clear/concise communications.

Estimated Salary Range: $110,000-$130,000
