The Division of Hematology-Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Expertise is required in the specific area of Genitourinary Cancers. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. Board certification or board eligible in Medical Oncology or equivalent is required.
Teaching responsibilities may include teaching hematology/oncology fellows, medical residents and medical students.
Clinical responsibilities may include care of patients with genitourinary cancer, including prostate, bladder, testicular, and renal malignancies in an outpatient setting and as an attending on the inpatient service at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP).
Research or scholarship responsibilities may include may include the ability of selected candidates to develop and grow an independent research program. Evidence of scholarship is required on the clinician educator track.
