Account Management Coordinator
Location: Remote (must reside in Chicago, IL or Indianapolis, IN)
Type: Full-time
Salary Range: $50k plus commission + annual bonus based on performance

The role will be directly responsible for daily support of sales activity execution. The position will be paired up with an Implementation Engineers Business Development Executive (BDE). This team member will be accountable for execution of daily sales and account management activities in support of their assigned industry sectors.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for executing post-sales meeting actions in support of progressing sales opportunities.
  • Responsible for account management activities with prospective, current and former clients.
  • Responsible to engage with the BDE as a thought contributor on how to overcome hurdles in sales pursuits.
  • Partner with the Business Development Executive(s) on sector campaigns designed to enhance targeting efforts or market penetration; associated activities may include market and company research and targeted prospecting efforts (i.e., outbound phone call campaigns).
  • Responsible for daily Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform data entry to document ongoing sales activities and client and prospect interactions.
  • Responsible for communicating with other Implementation Engineers colleagues as required to accomplish all activities.
  • Responsible to endeavor actively and attentively to learn internal sales processes related to post-meeting follow ups and actions.

Qualifications & Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a sales-relevant concentration (e.g., Marketing, Communication, Psychology, etc.).
  • Previous experience in Account Management, Marketing or Sales.
  • Ability to project an organized and professional demeanor working with all internal and external stakeholders. Key external stakeholders include partner telemarketing firms and client prospects.
  • Ability to be a self-starter.
  • Able to manage time and activities effectively.
  • Able to work collaboratively with key Business Development Executives and to work effectively in a fast-paced team-based environment.
  • Great communication skills (interpersonal, verbal, and written).
  • Ability to resolve issues and reach desired outcomes positively and proactively.
