Highlights:
- In this project, you will help support the development of standoff sensor systems to find threat objects before they can cause harm. The system will help solve an urgent need to protect US military and civilian personnel abroad and at home.

- By applying your hands-on knowledge of UAV operations, test management, logistics, and program management, you will play a direct role in transitioning this technology from the laboratory to the battlefield.

Typical Day:
A typical day will be spent in the office and/or remote work location, involving a wide variety of activities such as test planning, test coordination, customer meetings and design review meetings. You will also participate in field tests and site visits at locations around the world.
Tasks:
- Develop test plans for multi-agency field test activities at multiple ranges that might include OCONUS locations.
- Coordinate all activities needed to move targets, test equipment, and personnel to and from test sites.
- Travel to attend site visits and field tests.
- Contribute to technical briefings and reports.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and 25+ years of experience
- Recent experience supporting aviation operations with a focus on remote data collection of engineering and scientific data.
- Recent experience with onboard SUAS AI and edge computing in tactical environments, AR/VR interfaces for real-time SUAS data collection, and swarming SUAS for both military and civil applications.
- Recent experience working with Federal agencies such as FAA and ASA (ALT) for obtaining Airworthiness Releases (AWR), Certificate of Authorization (COA), and Exception to policy (ETP) waivers.
- Experience coordinating logistics for complex, multi-organization activities that involve moving equipment and people to and from military installations.
Desired Qualification:
- Active duty military service including OCONUS deployment is strongly preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Position requires walking to inspect test sites with uneven terrain.
