JOB SUMMARY

Under the direct supervision of the Sr. VP of Integrated Services, the Director of Community Engagement will provide support to all divisions in the East New York Hub. The Director of Community Engagement will aim to maintain the positive image of the organization. The Director of Community Engagement will assist with referrals, events and marketing of the East New York Hub. In addition, this role will be the point of contact for internal and external communication. This role is responsible for the delivery of ICL’s mission and vision. The Director of Community Engagement is an outgoing and goal oriented driven professional who thrives on building community relationships by providing resources and opportunities to the people we support. This role is responsible for ensuring that the tasks of the East New York Hub are prepared and submitted in a timely manner. It is critical that the Director of Community Engagement has the ability to listen to needs of others, receive and respond to feedback, and develop plans and strategies in a collaborative environment.

·The Director of Community Engagement will develop sustainable partnerships with local neighborhood leaders (such as non-profits, schools, local police station, hospitals).

·Responsible to ensure standards of HUB Center of Excellence

·Responsible to coordinate whole health and wellness events; serve as a liaison with hub partners such as CHN,

·Will establish and maintain relationships with clients, community, employees and public interest groups.

·Coordinates with all divisions to identify trends, plan events and provide advice on business decisions.

·Identifies potential problems and works to find solutions in order to maximize efficiency and revenue.

·Purchase materials based on programmatic and East New York Hub needs.

·Develop marketing communications plan, including but not limited to, strategy, goals, budget and tactics.

·Communicate with the development team for events, success stories, marketing materials, etc.

·Ability to work in a fast paced environment

·Follows organizations policies and procedures and ensures compliance within all divisions

·Assists with directing client flow, working with security, maintenance and staff within all divisions.

·Facilitates The Hub’s shared office space amongst all programs.

·Works with the Facility Department, and supported any with emergency protocols within the Hub.

·Is able to present all services and programs to external and internal parties.

·Coordinate special projects as needed.

·Perform other job-related tasks as assigned

·Strong organizational skills and able to develop, and implement strategies that will support the ICL mission and vision by focusing on integration of all services.

·Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

·Excellent project management skills.

·Highly efficient time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.

·Ability to work with minimal or no supervision.

·Ability to design forms for the collection of information.

·Ability to understand and adhere to internal and external laws, rules and policies.

·Strong capability to multitask, work under pressure and meet all deadlines.

·Self-motivated and effective in a team setting and individually

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or project management certification preferred.

At least five years of community engagement, marketing, project management, property management experience required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; advanced computer skills required.

Must speak fluent English and Spanish.
