Medical Center Prescription Shop is seeking a Pharmacy Cashier. The Pharmacy Cashier is responsible for handling customer transactions while providing excellent customer service in a retail pharmacy setting. 

Duties/Responsibilities include: 

• Transaction Handling: operating the cash register, processing payments, maintaining transaction records
• Cash Handling: managing cash drawer, making change, balancing receipts at the end of the day
• Customer Service: greeting and assisting customers, answering phone calls, answering questions and requests, referring inquiries to the pharmacist when necessary
• Inventory Management: assisting in restocking shelves, organizing merchandise, maintaining a clean and organized work area
• Compliance: adhering to pharmacy policies and procedures, including those related to cash handling and customer privacy

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED certificate
• Preferred Experience: Processing transactions, customer service, cash handling, maintaining cleanliness and organization, math skills, attention to detail, basic computer/point of sale skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to perform light lifting and repetitious physical activity.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
