What You’ll Do
Blue Hour Studios sits at the intersection of culture, content, creators and commerce and our Brand team sits at the heart of Blue Hour. The Brand Director will work on a portfolio of clients delivering the best, most inspired work across Blue Hour’s expanse of capabilities. This individual will use their rich account and brand strategy experience to to bring forth inspired work across brands and translate key business objectives into clear and concise deliverables. This role will be the glue between clients and our Influencer, Creative and Strategy teams and tasked with producing the best creative and business outcomes for the brands that entrust us with their business. The Brand Director will report to the Vice President, Brand.
40% - Client Relationship Development
- Holistic oversight of all accounts, with emphasis on content, innovation and client satisfaction
- Oversee the implementation of new client and project teams
- Manage client satisfaction, growth, retention and ensure exceptional experience in all client/agency interaction
- Shepherd the appropriate resources around a client’s business and provide incremental leadership as needed
- Lead and manage client and execution teams both internally and externally
- Abide by, enforce, and evolve the ‘client experience’ framework/strategy to impact approach to client service that always positions us ahead of client needs
- Develop a client feedback framework and appropriately manage feedback to ensure client and team success
- Reinforce understanding of client’s business and uncovering of motivations/needs
- Develop and maintain relationships with key leaders across various Horizon teams,, to collaborate and lead conversations for your client
30% - Strategic Planning & Thought Leadership
- Translate client goals into strategic, innovative creative and media solutions
- Provide strategic counsel to clients and prospects
- Develop and deliver effective and persuasive points of view
- Understand our client’s business, competitive set and generate new ideas and see opportunities for growth
- Ensures best practices are applied across disciplines
- Oversee the development and maintenance of timelines, deadlines, processes and integration points for all digital projects
- Lead teams to produce all campaign components seamlessly
- Proactively manage client and internal team expectations
- Ensure Brand Team is providing innovative solutions to feed into clients’ goals, evaluating health of client business via analysis of relevant business metrics
- Bring powerful thought leadership to consult on complex issues and identifies innovative solutions
- Tap into Blue Hour resources/tools and collaborate with partner agencies to offer clients holistic business solutions
20% - Business Growth
- Spearhead new business opportunities and proposal development
- Ability to strategically identify and persuasively sell in incremental solutions/capabilities to drive organic growth
- Responsible for account/project profitability including forecasting and pre-close reporting
10% - Team Management & Supervision
- Foster collaborative, supportive, and innovative working environment and atmosphere
- Ensure team members have training and support needed to achieve development goals
- Conduct direct report’s performance reviews, coaching to maximize success
- Guide team in setting goals and professional development timelines, ensure team members have challenging, level-appropriate projects and opportunities to learn new skills
- Provide ongoing, real-time, performance feedback to ensure continued team growth
- Active role in conversations around staffing needs
Preferred Skills & Experience
- 8+ years creative agency or brand marketing experience
- Strong operational prowess with experience building process
- Exceptional digital marketing and strategic abilities across multiple business verticals
- Influencer marketing and production experience highly preferred
- Experience working and collaborating with cross-agency teams to build integrated marketing plans
- Client or agency relationship management experience preferred
- High level of comfort presenting to clients and internal team members
- Self-starter, demonstrates initiative
- Strong Leadership skills and ability to develop and mentor teams

Salary Range
$140,000.00 - $165,000.00A successful applicant’s actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure/certifications, and equity.
