Job Description

Individual will be responsible for cultivating new customers and expanding business with existing customers, focused with an end user visits mentality. This position requires a self-motivated individual that can work independently to drive the sales within the geographic territory – via a growth mindset framework.  The individual will interface with sales management, product development personnel as well as key customers, authorized Foodservice dealers and Consultants.  The individual must reside within the assigned territory.       

Job Responsibilities:

  • Represent ITW Food Equipment Group brands in the assigned market.
  • Work collaboratively with existing Sales Manager and Independent Rep Group to grow sales in the territory.
  • Achieve or surpass their market’s sales plan
  • Collaborate with existing Sales Manager and Independent Rep Group to prepare and track annual territory Business Plan.
  • Work cross functionally with FEG Product lines to implement and achieve annual initiatives
  • Utilize CRM to manage and drive FEG transactional and project opportunities
  • Call on ’80 Segment end-users and identify product needs and obtain orders.
  • Prepare and conduct business reviews to senior management and select '80 dealers.
  • Maintain knowledge of all FEG product lines applicable to industry needs.
  • Participate in dealer sales meetings and promote FEG products and corporate policies.
  • Administer target account programs with dealers, multi-segment chain accounts and key consultants.
  • Maintain a Hunter mentality across territory to drive growth and increase share of FEG products.
  • Expert in specifications and applications of all FEG equipment lines.
  • Manage and negotiate competitive bid project work with multiple distribution partners.
  • Plan, prepare and conduct regional training meetings on all product lines.
  • Maintain relationship with Installations Teams, Branches and Service Contractors to support customer’s service and installation needs.
  • Conduct all activities in keeping with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field; or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years field selling experience, working directly with dealers, end users or in other business-to-business environments
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Required Qualifications:

  • Demonstration of Teamwork and Leadership
  • CRM experience
  • Sales Process experience

  • Excellent ability to set short, mid and long-term goals, prioritize and manage time.
  • Consultative problem solver and very strong communicator and collaborator
  • Ability to create and execute impactful sales presentations.
  • Ability and willingness to work as a team on common goals
