Job Description
Job Summary:
To provide oversight of the physical Solon site, including, but not limited to utilities, contract and contractor services and building safety. Maintenance and upkeep of interior and exterior of the building.
Job Duties:
- Assures that all buildings, grounds, and utilities are in good condition.
- Assures that all fire extinguishing equipment is maintained according to insurance company recommendations.
- Provides labor and supervision for timely completion of facility projects.
- Prepares appropriate documents for economic justifications regarding facility projects.
- Participates in all management meetings concerning tactical and strategic planning as it relates to the facility.
- Prepares budget and reports on adherence to performance plans.
- Works with corporate on utility conservation and GHG initiatives.
- Manages capital projects related to building for safety, completion and to budget.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- 4-year degree in mechanical electrical, or manufacturing engineering or technology preferred.
- 3-5 years related experience is preferred.
- Previous experience with project management and working with outside vendors preferred.
