Job Description
This position is responsible for the management of an assigned group of products marketed domestically and internationally under the Evercoat and Auto-Magic brands. There is a strong focus on day-to-day management, profitability, and new product development within defined product lines. Specifically, you will be responsible for the commercialization of new products and the management of activities affecting profitability, availability, and viability of existing products. You will report to the Senior Manager of Innovation and Product Management and partner with Brand, Sales, Operations and R&D to create product opportunities to drive volume and growth by aligning product requirements with market demands.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or applicable technical/scientific field. Prefer Chemistry or Chemical Engineering. Polymer, Coatings and/or Emulsion considered a plus.
- Marketing and/or Sales function experience considered a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Innovation, Product Management and/or Marketing roles.
- Strong project management process knowledge including phase gate and innovation pipeline management.
- Ability to work with large data sets and able to model NPV, profitability, cash flows, pricing, and cost structures.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills. Team leader skills considered a plus.
- Ability to function in a cross functional team environment.
