Job Description

  1. Goal of position (Why was this position created?)

You will be responsible for sustainably growing the revenues, profitability and outstanding reputation of Loma North America ‘s Service department. You will do this through demonstrating great people and strategic leadership, exceeding service targets and KPI’s.

  1. Responsibilities
  • Manage the Service/Aftermarket business and P&L, including driving revenue growth and profitability.
  • Focus on providing excellence in Customer support, ensuring customer satisfaction, industry-leading service, and growing proactive service revenue – contracts, spare parts, warranty, upgrades, and repair services.
  • Develop Service strategies, KPI’s, processes/procedures, and action plans that will deliver growth objectives. Optimize scheduling, dispatching, and routing for best-in-class utilization, and response time.
  • Provide forecasts and monitor performance against plans, ensuring proper actions are taken. Utilize market surveillance and research to capture market intelligence.  
  • Partner with key customers to ensure long lasting relationships, satisfaction with the Loma brand and gain a deep understanding of their needs and objectives.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing department to create and execute service and sales strategies as well as support our customers through service excellence and trusted advisor approach. Execute the company strategic plan to expand the customer base, using 80/20 guidelines and principals.
  • Ensure all services field activities comply with the Company’s Quality System and Standards. Leading in safety and EH&S programs while creating and promoting a strong safety culture.
  • Demonstrate the ability to be a great talent manager through hiring, developing, coaching, mentoring, and training your team. Undertaking management activities including measuring and evaluating individual performance against clearly defined accountable competencies, responsibilities, and objectives.

Qualifications

  1. Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales Management, or related field required as well as minimum 7 years of relevant experience in customer facing roles.
  • High Drive, with a growth mindset. You should have a track record of exceeding targets.
  • Strong experience in effectively leading a team while working under pressure and reacting quickly to changing priorities and/or set backs.
  • Strong teamwork, analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to delegate.
  • Ability to understand company sales tools including design guides for Metal Detectors, Checkweighers and X-Ray equipment and the associated technical applications.
  • Excellent at building relationships both internally and externally with clients and industry influencers.
  • A role model of Loma’s behaviours (Hands-on, One Team, Positive Mindset, Delivering on our Commitments, Taking the initiative).
  • High Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerBI, Visio, Access) as well as CRM and SharePoint.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites as and when required.
