Position Summary:

 A key member of the management team and the head of sales for HISUN in the United States, the National Sales Manager will report directly to the VP of Sales of HISUN. 

The National Sales Manager will have full sales and network operations responsibility for the United States.

He or she will ensure that the organization is meeting retail, wholesale, revenue, and profitability goals by strategically leading and performing high-level sales duties personally through a skillful hands-on approach, while also providing focused direction and guidance to the field sales team, and the brand development managers. The National Sales Manager will have 9 direct reports. He or she will be expected to be a strong mentor to those on his or her sales teams. The National Sales Manager will motivate and drive his or her teams, creating cohesiveness and offering support, while harnessing friendly spirited competition so that sales managers and the organization reach their respective goals.

An entrepreneurial sales leader with a proven track record of exceeding sales goals and setting strategy, the National Sales Manager will be tasked with developing strategic sales plans and implementing them to enhance market share, grow sales as well as lead volume in the markets in which HISUN competes.

The National Sales Manager will be based at HISUN headquarters in McKinney, Texas. The National Sales Manager will be expected to be on the road between 50% to 70% of the time.

Essential Roles and Functions:

  • To find ways to do things more efficiently, quickly, and identify and implement process improvements in the sales environment.

Education, Experience, and Skills:

  • Thorough understanding of dealer financing, floor plan, and sales programs.

Leadership & Management/Behavioral Competencies:

An independent, self-motivated yet connected sales management leader.

A demonstrated track record of being able to make decisions and represent his or her team, having a teaching/mentoring approach.

One who is process-oriented, with an ability to communicate management styles and techniques.

Experience in hiring, developing, motivating, and compensating a sales team in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to establish a collaborative, positive workplace environment and retention strategy, strengthen employee relations, develop people, and maintain a positive and constructive social situation within the company.

A sales management leader who is customer-centric; responds promptly to customer needs; solicits customer feedback to improve service; responds to requests for service and assistance; and meets commitments.

Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; gather and analyze information skillfully; and develop alternative solutions.
