Job Summary:

Hayes Locums seeks Sr. Salesforce Developer to lead design and development of Salesforce applications for our evolving CRM platform. As a Salesforce developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing strategic solutions for the Salesforce platform. Responsibilities include identifying project objectives, analyzing implementation options, creating custom workflows, and troubleshooting errors.  The ideal Salesforce Developer will be hands on in the entire development process from requirements gathering sessions through proof designs and demonstration solutions. To ensure success as a Salesforce developer, you should have extensive development experience with Salesforce CRM platforms, an ability to work with business leaders to identify requirements, and a knack for solving complex software problems. Ultimately, a top-class Salesforce developer will be able to create dynamic and scalable Salesforce applications that meet the changing needs of the company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Work with Business and IT teams to establish agreed-upon timelines for projects

·         Effectively manage multiple tasks and timelines and prioritizing workloads

·         Modify and upgrade existing systems and functions in Salesforce

·         Develop new features from the ground up in Salesforce

·         Develop and upgrade functions in Lightning Design System and Lightning Components Development

·         Complete maintenance activities and prepare new releases in Salesforce system

·         Develop and coordinate data transfers between Salesforce and outside databases

·         Stay up to speed on the newest Salesforce technologies and advancements

·         Research and determine usefulness of new and emerging technologies

·         Utilize Salesforce best practices and leverage available platform functionalities where possible.

·         Communicate the pros and cons of a technical solution to business leaders

·         Easily communicate your ideas through code, writing, presentations, lucid charts, demos, and whiteboard sessions.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

·         6+ years expertise in Salesforce Lightning

·         Extensive experience developing Lightning Components, both within the Salesforce Lightning Design System and by writing custom Lightning Components in Java Script within the Aura framework.

·         Expertise in Apex

·         Extensive experience developing custom Apex Classes and Apex Triggers

·         Expertise in Salesforce Query and Search Language (SoQL and SoSL), also must be able to speak to limitations of languages and differences between SoQL and SQL

·         Experience developing Visualforce pages, Visualforce components and Customer Controllers

·         Experience creating Custom Report Types and developing custom Reports and Dashboards

·         Experience with interacting with external systems via Salesforce callouts

·         Experience developing applications that interact with Salesforce via the SOAP, REST, MuleSoft ESB APIs
