Position Title: HME Patient Service Technician

**This position is PRN and hours will vary.**

To best support our patients’ needs, the following minimum shift commitments are requested by Haven for PRN Team Members in order to ensure proper staffing coverage.

  • Be available to work on-call four or more shifts per month, including weekend shift
  • Be available to work various daytime shifts as needed
  • Upon request, be available to work an annual holiday, such as New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, or Christmas

Overview:

The Haven Medical Equipment Patient Service Technician is responsible for the delivery, set-up, maintenance and repair of durable medical equipment uses in the home. This position instructs patients and/or caregivers on use, care and basic maintenance of the equipment when appropriate. They also assist in warehouse with cleaning equipment, equipment repairs, medical gas distribution and maintaining inventory. The HME Patient Service Technician completes accurate driver logs, delivery sheets and other paperwork and is responsible for properly maintaining assigned delivery vehicle. This position works assigned on-call shifts. If you are compassionate and detail oriented, then we want you!

You Have:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required. Current FL driver’s license required.
  • Home medical equipment experience is preferred.
  • Ability to embrace individuals from all walks of life.
