Our team is looking for an Inventory Specialist to join our operation in Paris, Texas. This team member will be responsible for evaluating accuracy of company and customer inventory records through the use of physical inventory counts and transaction reconciliation.
JOBSITE LOCATION: Paris, TX
STARTING PAYRATE: $14-15/hr depending on experience
PRIMARY WORK SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm (weekends only as needed)
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare facility for and coordinates the performance of customer directed full physical inventory

Perform cycle counts of customer and company owned product, recording location, lot and quantity

Perform special inventories of product as requested by customers or as required by identified issues with the company records

Reconcile count results to both company and customer inventory records, by identifying and determining the causes of discrepancies between the count and the records

Routinely reconcile customer and company inventory records, identifying, determining the cause of and correcting discrepancies

Report results of full physical inventories, cycle counts and special inventories

Make necessary corrections to fix record errors or correctly locate product

Based on available information, identify specific or most likely causes of inventory errors

Report damaged or destroyed product to the customer, identifying the cause; remove from company records and ensure final disposition

Work with customers to identify, locate and dispose of obsolete materials, ensuring they are correctly removed from all records

Assist in providing forklift driver and CSR training in the correct use of systems and processes

Assist in user-interface level database support

Report incidents that impact on food quality and safety to the Quality and Safety Lead
Education and Experience Requirements: Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Forklift experience required.
