The purpose of your role as an HVAC Service Technician
- Repair, install, maintain, and adjust equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair defective equipment
- Perform routine preventative maintenance
- Respond to work order requests in a timely fashion
- Ability to work some evening and weekends (On call rotation)
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively with customer and office team regarding work needed or performed
What we're looking for in you
- Valid driver's license
- Driving record that meets company standards
- 3+ Years as a Service Technician in HVAC
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints
- Be familiar with a wide range of equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Experience making repair and replace decisions to forward to sales team
- Advanced customer service skills
- Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing medium to large tonnage commercial and industrial HVAC equipment
- Knowledge of basic commercial building systems operations
- Specialty knowledge of chillers, VRF/VRV, commercial refrigeration, or boilers are a plus
