Summary/Objective: Promotes the company mission statement in a General position with primary responsibility for all field operations including safety, quality, scheduling, cost control, personnel, and equipment; with these duties carried out through effective management of our project Superintendents.
Essential Functions:
- Leads the project along with a Project Manager
- Oversees the project to make all critical field decisions and ensure proper project decisions
- Serves as a point of contact for the Owner, Engineer, and Architect at the job site
- Oversee and uphold Safety expectations and requirements
- Oversees coordination of Trade Partners
- Leverages Project Management Software (Procore experience preferred)
- Oversees project activities such as sequencing, scheduling, procurement, logistics, quality control, and staffing
- Manages routine tasks such as timesheets, daily reports, equipment maintenance, inspections, etc.
- Project Reporting and Documentation
- Develop and Supervise QA/QC efforts
- Supervises field staff to ensure professional development
- Leads Project Close-Out Procedures

Education & Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of job site supervision, including 5+ years as Superintendent
- Valid state-issued license, a satisfactory motor vehicle record, safe driving behavior, and adherence to our Driving Policy

Supervisory Responsibilities: Superintendent shall supervise all Trade Partners, consultants, and vendors daily. This supervision shall ensure adequate manpower is available for each task and compliant work performed. This position shall be responsible for monitoring project security personnel. Superintendent shall supervise all Assistant-Superintendents.
Work Environment: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions; extreme cold and extreme heat. The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock and risk of vibration. The noise level in the work environment is sometimes loud.
Physical Demands:
- Requires work in a variety of conditions relative to construction job site environments and must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job, as assigned.
- Weather and climate conditions will vary throughout the progress of a project. Must be able to inspect all ongoing construction activities over the duration of the assigned project.
- Requires walking over varied terrain, climbing, stooping, bending and lifting. Lifting requirements vary from minimal to heavy loads.
- Inspection for quality, consistency, and completeness of work frequently requires climbing ladders, stairs, and scaffolding.
Travel Required: Travel to/from multiple job sites, projects, and offices. Minimal overnight or weekend travel.
