WHAT YOU WILL DO:

The Youth Care Shift Supervisor is a non-exempt position responsible for supervision to all Youth Care Workers on your assigned shift and will provide oversight to Medical Assistant on duty, if Medical Nurse is not on duty. You will work alongside the Youth Care Workers in managing the behavior of the children and will serve as a positive role model to the children and provide crisis intervention. You'll assist the Medical Nurse during the Intake Process and any Incident Reports that may result. And identify, develop and coordinate all outdoor activities and field trips on a daily basis. These activities will be submitted to the Assistant Program Director for discussion and approval. Coordination will include all logistics, timelines, van availability, payments for entrance fees, deposits for venues and assessments of any safety and liability considerations.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • High School diploma or equivalent, plus two (2) years of experience working with children and or families. Assocaite degree and one (1) year of experience working with children and or families, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Bilingual communication skills in Spanish /English, required.
  • Proof of Immunization for: Varicella (2 doses), MMR (2 dose), Influenza (1 dose yearly), Tdap (1 dose).
  • Must have valid drivers' license and proof of auto insurance coverage.
