Glen Raven is recruiting for a Machine Operator which will operate a Twister Machine. This is responsible for operation of the Volkmann and Saurer twisting machines and production of these textile machines in accordance with all safety, quality and efficiency standards.

*We work 8 hour shifts, this position is for Night Shift.*

Responsibilities:

• Cycle assignments to monitor quality
• Assist with Lab and SPC checks
• Assist with daily housekeeping in assigned area
• Inspect and pack tray packs or boxes with twisted yarn
• Creel and doff packages
• Repair end breaks
• Assist in yarn salvage
• Assist in color changes

Experience and Education:

• Previous experience in a textile manufacture preferred
• High School Diploma Preferred
• Ability to run a twisting textile machine
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Ability to lift and move yarn packages from 5-10 lbs.
• Ability to bend, stretch, push and pull
• Ability to read, write and follow instructions
• Must wear appropriate PPE
