Glen Raven Consumer Solutions is recruiting for a Sales Representative. Reporting to the Director of Sales - Custom Window Products, the Sales Representative will help to develop a dealer network supporting Sunbrella’s exciting and disruptive market entry into the premium custom window covering category. In this role, you will proactively prospect and develop training materials for dealer onboarding. You will provide one-on-one virtual and in-person customer training sessions, increase knowledge of the Sunbrella product offering, effectively tell the Sunbrella brand story, create awareness around our specialized custom window product offerings, and drive revenue while developing relationships.  As part of an entrepreneurial start-up team, you will leverage the power of the market-leading Sunbrella brand to increase our share of wallet in this dynamic sales channel.

This role is best suited for an extroverted self-starter who thrives in a growth-oriented environment and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and dive in. You will directly interact with dealers and prospective customers across various settings, including outbound email campaigns, telephone communication, planning event itineraries, and attending sales conferences. Above all, you will embody Glen Raven’s culture and confidently represent the Sunbrella brand as we expand our distribution footprint.

Responsibilities: 

  • Assist with dealer onboarding and deliver product and program training initiatives.
  • Recruit, engage, and develop new accounts through effective prospecting, qualifying, and lead conversion.
  • Effectively communicate the ‘Why Sunbrella?’ story to existing customers, prospects and Designers.
  • Gain placement of Sunbrella’s premium merchandising displays and sampling / sales tools necessary for brand success.
  • Assist in developing and initiating ongoing improvements to the Custom Window Dealer Portal.
  • Build and cultivate professional, ongoing, and trusted relationships with our customers. This individual will be an educator, sales driver, and ultimately become a trusted advisor to our dealers.
  • Work in Microsoft Dynamics CRM to create and maintain customer profiles, document insights, manage administrative tasks, and maintain a routine call schedule.
  • Monitor quarterly sales performance to budget, write sales reports, create presentations, and meet the annual sales revenue goals.
  • Work with the custom window team, ensuring successful execution of strategic priorities, customer loyalty/co-op programs, individualized marketing plans, new product launches, and profitable sales growth objectives.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or another related discipline
  • Industry/market experience in décor, building products or B2B sales
  • Proficiency in computer skills, web presentation tools, and Microsoft Office Suite of programs.
  • Results-driven behaviors; having a consistent focus on helping your customers to solve problems and giving your customers the best service and best experience possible.
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and manage time effectively
  • Proven and effective decision-making skills
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Solid communication skills, verbal and written
  • Strong desire to learn, absorb knowledge, and proactively follow-up
  • Limited travel, less than 20%
