We are currently searching for a Vendor Receivable Clerk to join our Buying department in Encino. This position will provide direct assistance to the Center Store Buying team and the Vendor Receivable Coordinator.

Responsibilities:
This role assists the Vendor Receivable (VR) Coordinator and the Center Store Buying team to accomplish their goals in optimizing the results of the categories managed. The key responsibility is to assist the VR Coordinator to perform tasks necessary to ensure accurate administration and operation of the department. Constant interaction with vendors and management to generate promotional invoices and assist in the collection of payments. Will replace the VR Coordinator during periods of absence. Additional duties include administrative tasks and support.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Prepare, review, and report daily transactions pertaining to collection activity to the VR Coordinator
- Support VR Coordinator in various aspects of the administration and operations of department
- Prepare, code, and scan promo forms for billing
- Create invoices for vendor funded promotions including, displays, ads and accruals
- Apply payments received from vendors to corresponding invoices
- Process payment deductions through direct purchases and distributors for invoices
- Assist Category Manager in collection inquires to brokers/vendors
- Process and mail invoices
- Perform special projects as needed and directed by the Director of Center Store
- Other related duties and assignments as required
Qualifications:
Training and Education
- High school diploma or equivalent, some college a plus
- Completion of the Retail management certification program a plus
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge of store operations and grocery product
- Working knowledge of outlook, word and excel
- Basic accounting knowledge with ability to use 10-key calculator
- Able to communicate with Category Managers
- Interaction with vendors, and daily interfacing with internal staff including members of the buying department, accounting, and management
- Must be highly organized, and detail oriented

Pay range: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
